HAYRD

How are you really doing?

HAYRD is an open space to talk about anything and everything

HAYRD is pronounced as H-E-A-R-D

Have you ever found yourself just giving or doing for others, yet you feel as though no one ever stops -to ask you “how are you really doing?”. Well let me tell you today, that I want to know how you are really doing?! Not the short answer you give your family or friends, when you don’t want to be vulnerable or when you do not want to share your real feelings and emotions. I want to know the part that you talk to yourself about.

Here at HAYRD we will talk, teach and learn about Self love and Self care. In life we go through so many seasons – there is a season for Happiness, sadness, heartbreak, loneliness, sickness, hope, weakness, strength, growth, opportunities or new beginnings and the list goes on and on. When we go through the seasons of life we often feel alone! We feel as if we were the only one in the world going through it or while we are going through it we can never see the LIGHT at the end of the tunnel — Also during those times, sometimes we subconsciously await for others to check on us or to notice that we are not ok or to lift us up!

The importance of Self care and Self love — Notice both have the word “Self” in front of it? Once we learn how we can uplift ourselves or check in with ourselves by ourselves this brings POWER! The power to know and value our worth without having to wait for others validation or acknowledgement.

Along with you all, I will also be adding my knowledge because this is not just a platform for me to teach you but also for me to learn from YOU! This is why HAYRD is an open space — each individual deals with life situations differently and if I have been trying it my way and it is not working — guess what? I want to hear and learn your way! At HAYRD we all have a voice and we all can speak up. without judgement, or negativity because there is already a lot of that in the world.

I will be sharing methods that has worked for me and will be reading and learning from all of you too! Simply because no one knows or has experienced everything in life but what I can do is — tell you what I did when I went through a situation and what my coping mechanisms worked and how I over came certain situations.

HAYRD will help each of us ask ourselves “How are you really doing?” and if the answers are not what we would like it to be — well then we will come to HAYRD and search up a post about what we are going through and what people did to overcome the situation!

Send me over topics, questions and I will post my opinion, experience and open it up for an open communication for the entire HAYRD family!

I am very excited for this new journey and this open platform where nothing is off topic or taboo! Before I let you explore this magical world of HAYRD.. ask yourself “How are you really doing today?”.

As a child my family and I moved quite a lot  — the great part of  living in different countries is that I now speak 4 languages fluently, which has opened up many unimaginable doors for me in the Corporate world and I now work as a Software Engineer.

My hobbies are dancing, singing, reading, travelling, cooking, all things beauty and fashion and I also love exploring new things but most importantly I love spending time with my family.

Where does blogging fit in you may ask? As far as I can remember, it goes back to when SATC was still on air and seeing Carrie Bradshaw writing print column for the fictional New York Star newspaper.

As a child I loved writing short stories, songs and even poetry!! However, reading – oh – reading is one of my passions. When I am reading a book/story or novel, that for me is the time that I just check out from all the background noises and I try to focus and be in the moment — my mind even goes as far as painting a picture and visualising the story that I would be reading at the time.

Living in different countries and having friends from all backgrounds I became very cultivated and when we add my passion for story telling, curiosity in learning and discovering  new things I was always that friend, sibling, partner, colleague that people would come to with their stories, problems etc.. Over the years I have had many people come back to me for advise in all aspects of their lives.

I believe this is what made me have a different prospective of the human minds and how we think. People around me always feel they can be fully open and transparent with me and that I will have that listening ear to give them honest and truthful advice with taking into consideration all the different prospective.

With studying Psychology — I have now combined the two and this is how HAYRD was born!
