Where to start??
Let me tell you a quick story about how I navigate life as a working young mom of 4. First let me share… How or what or who or how come I appear so strong?
At the age of 21 I had my first child (a boy) and just before I turned 23 years of age, we welcomed another bundle of joy (a girl) the only girl in the house. stories of how I copped as a young mom will be posted as HAYRD grows on our weekly blogs.
At the age of 25 I got some health scare, which led us to plan for our 3rd baby the one I call my testimony, the one that thought me what it means to be resilient and to keep going and not breakdown! I was pregnant with twins and lost one.. the one I was able to carry I found out at 20 weeks that he had 50% chance of having Down syndrome (Trismoy21). We lived in the hospital for 6 months and my baby had more 4 surgeries and himself and myself escaped death, when we had a single-vehicle car accident. here will be a dedicated page or posts on “A journey to becoming resilient – Life with Downs & (Road to re-discovering Self-care
At the age of 26 I re-entered the work force and changed from the beauty industry to the corporate work. – The challenges I faced and amazing experience and people I have met along the way! Seven years in a male dominate role “SALES” and the road to discovering Self-love (These posts will be on VIP *only*)
2020 – Pandemic, Fertility issues, Weight gain and being introduced to the world of “anxiety” and escaping “depression”. How has the Pandemic affected you *blog to follow
2021 – A new baby after nearly 7 years! the planning, the tears, the pain, the experience, the joins and doing what feels like becoming a first-time mom all over again, experiencing Loss of a loved one, battling insomnia and finding myself again after.. removing myself from a toxic environment.
